Great thing about being Catholic:
The concept of “church shopping” doesn’t exist, and shouldn’t. Why? Because every Catholic parish is theoretically united in teaching - they can only teach what the Catholic Church asks them to teach. So there’s no fear of some pastor teaching his personal skewed interpretation of Scripture and theology, and instead, I can rest assured and know that in some way, I’m getting my teachings from the Vatican. It may not seem like much to you, but I feel safe in knowing that I’m united in spirit with the rest of the 1 million Catholics out there in the world.
