Anonymous asked: Who did and do you look up to in yfc? and why?
Well, these are the people I still look up to. How about that instead?
Noel Tabasco - always honest with me, kept it real with me when I was falling off, letting me know it came from a place of love. Inspired me to take the initiative to make real friends in YFC during Conferences. Hahaha.
Lourdes Castro - one of the first leaders I met in YFC who didn’t make me feel intimidated
Jeff Cantillas - he was my discussion group leader, he was the guy who made me feel the most welcomed in YFC when I first joined.
Charisse Santiago - she’s helping me out right now with being a Cluster Head in YFC, she’s always full of good advice, she’s got my back, she helped me out with DC, the list goes on and on…
Rhea Castro - she’s always gentle and patient with me, but I can take her seriously at the same time. Or maybe that’s just the way she talks. She does a lot for the Cluster, and I see her efforts. Got mad respect for her.
Jeff Sonza - I was intimidated by him at first, but there’ve been moments where I’ve confided in him and asked him for advice, he’s always down to talk to anyone, he’s funny
Kiel David - got me into Music Min back when we were still East Chapter, gave me a taste of leadership skills
Julienne Calasanz - Where do I begin? Inspired me to get into my faith. Beautiful voice. Has a pure heart. Everything she says and does, in my eyes, is centered in Christ. I see Christ in her.
JR Rigonan - my first “kuya” in YFC. He got me out of my comfort zone, and was one of the reasons I became more social with YFC events.
Tricia Coronel - confident, talented, outspoken. Inspires me to be a bit more DGAF about how people perceive me, and just be confident in myself.
